Jan Aldelhof is an Ithaca (NY)-based photographer. He holds a BA in Education (Mathematics, Science and IT) from the University of Leuven, Belgium, and has worked in teaching and learning support in Belgium and the UK. When moving to Ithaca as a trailing spouse in 2016, he found more time for his passion, photography. 

His coursework in photography spans institutions as varied as Magnum (London, UK, 2015; Brighton, UK, 2016), Cornell University (Photography and the American Dream; Alternative Processes: Explorations in Photographic Materiality, 2016), and Syracuse University (2017).

One of his photographs has been selected by Art Intersection for its exhibition Celebrating Images from the Darkroom in Gilbert (AZ) in March 2017.

Jan is currently developing his first project Debris of a Dream. The work combines platinum prints (11x7) and inkjet prints (30x20). At the moment, Jan is developing his inkjet prints at Light Work in Syracuse (NY).
